Askel.ai — a self-serve automation platform designed to help non-technical users automate tasks across various tools using everyday language.
In other words: Automation with everyday language.
Before starting Askel.ai, we saw firsthand—from Skype to Twilio to Checkout.com to Amazon—how companies often solved manual operations by simply adding more people to the process.
Why? Because automating these tasks was costly, requiring engineering resources, roadmap tradeoffs or expensive systems with consultants to get involved.
The accessibility aspect of automation has remained out of reach for day to day operations, either being too expensive or requiring an engineering mindset. Even after reviewing existing automation tools, we found that all of them required users to think like engineers.
A major reason for this challenge is that many of the tasks handled by operations teams require human intelligence. However, with the advent of LLMs and AI, the technology is now in place to make these operations scalable and cost-effective, freeing up operations teams to focus on more strategic roles.
That got us thinking: How can we leverage AI to empower operators to automate their repetitive tasks without needing to become engineers?
Our #1 goal is to make automation accessible to all operators and allow businesses to scale their operations
